PUFF SCARF

Test Knit Deadline: Monday, December 8, 2025.

Skill Level: Easy Intermediate. Experience knitting in the round with two circular needles is preferred.

Yarn: Worsted weight yarn. The yarn I used is Illimani Llama I, however please feel free to use any worsted weight yarn of your choosing, as long as you can obtain the gauge. See Yarn amounts below.

Test Knit Pattern: If selected for this test knit, pattern will be emailed to you as a PDF. This pattern is a photo tutorial style. An Instagram chat group will also be used for testers to share info, photos etc

Some Notes About the Pattern and Test Knit

~There are two versions of this scarf, a solid colour version and a two colour version.
~ The main part of the knitting uses two circular needles to work in the round.

~ For this test, due to the nature of the pattern, I prefer it if you can commit to knitting the pattern as written without making any significant modifications to the techniques used.

Size
Approximately 15 cm wide x 81.5 cm long / 6.5 inches wide x 32 inches long

Yarn Illimani Llama I, worsted weight, 200 metres / 220 yards per 100g, 100% de-haired baby llama

Single colour version: Light-grey GC, 2 skeins

2- colour version: Bone B and Beige BC, 1 of each skein

Yardage: Single colour: 375 metres / 410 yards

Yardage: 2- colour: 190 metres , 210 yards each 


Needles and Supplies: 4 mm / US 6, 60 cm / 24 inch circular needles (or longer), 2 pairs (main needles)

5 mm / US 8 Dpns, set of 2, 6” long (or longer)

Approximately 40g of Poly-fil pillow stuffing

4 stitch holders


Gauge: 20 sts x 28 rows to 10cm / 4 inches square over stocking stitch using 4 mm needle
