Boot is a heavy weight sock, which can be used as a cozy house sock, or inside your wellies. The textured stitch pattern is especially comfy, and feature a unique “no short-row” heel construction.

Yarn Amounts
Single colour version: Main Colour (MC); 1 (1, 2, 2, 2, 2) skein
2 - colour version: Main Colour (MC); 1 (1, 2, 2, 2, 2) skein
Contrast Colour (CC); 1 skein
Yarn Substitution
Choose a sturdy aran-weight wool with some nylon content for strength. Alternatively, two strands of a sport-weight sock yarn can be held double. Idea: Tukuwool Sock held double.
NEEDLES
• 4 mm / US 6 double pointed needles (DPNs)
• 4 mm crochet hook (or slightly smaller or larger) for the provisional cast on
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
GAUGE (after blocking)
20 stitches and 32 rows = 10cm / 4 inches on 4 mm / US 6 needles in Rib Pattern
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
