A Note About AI

In this day and age, the use and acceptance of AI has quickly become common place, and is used for just about everything.

Our opinion on the matter is that although there is a place and a function for the use of AI, it is not a neutral tool and should not be used within the creative sector.

We would like to assure our patrons that none of our pattern content (including text, images, charts) is AI generated, and all is solely created by real human beings (Sachiko and Kiyomi, tech editors, and test knitters)! We use sites and platforms such as Squarespace, Instagram, Affinity, etc., all of which have AI features, and we opt-out of them where we can and when we are aware of them.

We ask that you please respect our creator content and refrain from using AI tools to resize, translate or rewrite our patterns in any way. We believe that doing so could potentially allow our work to be shared without permission.
