An Icelandic yoke style sweater with a very simple colourwork motif at the neck, button up sleeve cuffs, and a chevron shaped patch pocket. As seen in Knitscene Winter 2015, this piece was part of a designer feature with three designs by Sachiko, and three designs by Kiyomi.

NOTES
The body and sleeves of this pullover are knit in the round from the bottom up to underarms, and then are joined to work the yoke in one piece. Short row shaping is used to create a more comfortable fit in the back after the yoke is joined in round. Stranded colorwork technique is used for the yoke motif. Read chart from right to left, bottom to top. Follow chart carefully, dec’ing where indicated, and referring to the key to understand symbols. Change to shorter circ needle when necessary. Keep floats in the back loose and for floats longer then 5 sts, twist yarns together in back of work.
