Saila
or purchase through Ravelry or LoveCrafts.
The cockleshell lace stitch that encircles the lower portion of Saila, is one of my favourite stitch patterns, just based on the single fact that I find it so visually pleasing! I originally found this stitch in a very worn, vintage knitting leaflet from the 1920s. Modified to be worked in the round, the stitch pattern does require a sufficient amount of your attention, but once you’re clear of it the knitting is smooth sailing
