NOTES

Piece is worked from the neck downwards. Yoke is worked back and forth to shape neck and then joined in the round and worked down to the hem, which is shaped with short rows. Raglan increases are made every third row/round with a double yarn over. A marker is placed between both yarn overs but may have a tendency to stray so ensure markers are in the correct position before working next increase row/round. When working into double yarn overs on subsequent row/round, always work through the back loop of the stitch. When working Yoke, stitches cast on at the beginning of the row are cast onto LH needle and then knit or purled as pattern instructs. The stitches cast on at the end of a row are cast onto the RH needle and are not worked until piece is turned to work the next row. Once piece is joined in the round after neck shaping, the beginning of round is marked at the left hand side of front neck. If using a hand-dyed, variegated yarn, and alternating between skeins to blend colour, please do so at the underarm, NOT the beginning of round, so joins are not visible on front of garment.
